    Sturdy and comfortable

Price was right! These, in my opinion are sturdy and well made as well as comfortable especially when laid back.
These are replacements for another set I purchased on sale at a well known, moderately priced department store. After a little over two years They went into the trash because they were coming apart...They were over twice the cost of these.

    Surprisingly Comfortable

We bought these for the price, thinking, "why not give them a shot?" We've had them now for two months and use them almost daily for sitting in the backyard. We don't leave them out in the sun and we sit down in them gingerly just as a precaution, but we have been extremely and pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they are. Most parts are metal, and the arm rests are plastic. Strong elastic bands hold the seat in place. It takes a bit of getting used to when you are trying to recline, but I have found that, for short people, you can push your butt all the way back into the seat and lean back and it starts to slowly recline. There is a little locking ring on each side, under the front of the armrest, that will lock in your recline position. I have lower back pain quite often and these actually DO feel like zero-gravity chairs on my back. They fold for storage, not flat, but for the price that's okay. I have fallen asleep in them several times.
