There is no remote control.

Light is not real bright but it is a cool looking, novel fan my son loves it.

Fantastic fan!

Very stylish, very quiet, and pushes plenty of air! The remote control works great. If I had one critique, it's that the light is either off, or very bright (regardless of the color temp you use). If it had three different levels of brightness (like the fan has three speeds), it would be much better. Otherwise though, I don't think you'll regret this purchase.
