Can't beat this product for the price it's definitely worth it compared to some for double if not triple the price. Happy with this purchase. Do need a power pack buy all of them on the market need one.

Get a size smaller.
Overall this vest is good quality and does everything it says it will. The vest is pretty warm even when unpowered. There is one heat zone on the back between the shoulders and one on each breast. It seems the wires connecting the pads give off some heat but not much. To get the most effect I wear the vest above a long sleeve shirt and then a jacket over the vest. Without an outer layer you are pretty much just going to heat the air around you. I suggest going a size smaller that you usually would for a piece of outerwear because it works best as a base layer.
I have had good luck so far with the battery. The instructions suggest fully charging and draining the battery five times before it will be at its peak performance. At the time I am writing this I have cycled it probably 20 times. It will now fully charge in around four hours. On the high setting this will only last around four hours. I usually get around six hours on medium heat. This is honestly all I need as I use this while working outside and high is too hot.
