I built a new office space in my basement and needed extra light. These were perfect for the space as they allowed for a flexible install. The cord length was great, in fact the cord length on some of them was a bit too long, but better a lot longer then a little bit to short. I liked them so much I bought another set to use over my extended desk. I also used amber light bulbs which brought a nice warm glow to the area.

I bought this, actually I bought the second hand one to save a few bucks. Those few bucks I saved went into buying the cages for the lamps which I got for about 4 bucks each. They were easy to install but I had to use my own screw in things to hang the lamps. I HAD to buy new bulbs but I personally like these better. Not a bad deal. I still wish some manufacturers sold lamp shades or cones at decent prices. For the price of one shade I can get 2 sometimes 3 new lights WITH the same shade. Thankfully the cage was all I could afford ATM but this made me happy.

I am so very pleased with these lights!!! I have been looking for an alternative to contract lights in our house, the torturous "boob" lights. FINALLY I FOUND THESE! They can be adjusted short enough to be a close to ceiling fixture. They look find with regular lights too, though the Edison lights add a certain industrial look. I bought 4 and plan to buy more for the basement!
